Volunteer to Help
With the Giving Tree

You are needed to staff and sort!

The Giving Tree involves almost every member of the parish in providing Christmas for about 100 individuals from Catholic Charities, clients of Lakeview Pantry, those helped by the Night Ministry and residents of Marah's Place.

We need lots of volunteers to "staff" the Giving Tree and then to sort the thousands of gifts!

Read to Feed

Help Kids Be Ordinary Heroes

Our Religious Education students are embarked on their third annual Read to Feed project.

The way it works: they pledge to read a certain number of books / pages during October and November. Friends and families pledge a certain amount of money per book / group of pages.

The money is collected for Heifer, which provides pairs of breeding animals to help ensure sustainable agriculture for families in over one hundred countries.

How can you help? Go to GiveCentral and help our kids be heroes by making your own donation!

Study the Prophets

of the Old Testament

Bible Study resumes on alternate Mondays at 7:00 PM beginning October 6

Jenna Patitucci will lead the discussion about the Prophets. We hear them read on Sundays, but often don't know their context or historical situation.

Learn about these fascinating books in our Scriptures. No prior experience with Bible study is necessary.

The book is on sale in the rectory, and is available from Amazon.
