The Way to Becoming Catholic or being Confirmed at St. Alphonsus

Sessions for the Rite of Christian Adults are beginning soon

Every year about 40 to 50 adults celebrate the sacraments of initiation - baptism, Eucharist and confirmation - at St. Alphonsus.

If you are interested, now is the time to talk to us about the right path for you toward full membership in the church.

Contact Cathy Crino to take the first step.

Study the New Testament

Classes resume on Tuesday at 7:30 PM beginning September 9

The New Testament classes will pick up again with the study of Hebrews, moving through the rest of the New Testament to Revelation.

Join Jim Hawk, as we study the New Testament book-by-book from a distinctly Catholic perspective.

Meetings will be on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in the Common Room of the rectory.
Please contact Jim Hawk for more information.

Study the Prophets

of the Old Testament

Bible Study resumes on alternate Mondays at 7:00 PM beginning October 6

Jenna Patitucci will lead the discussion about the Prophets. We hear them read on Sundays, but often don't know their context or historical situation.

Learn about these fascinating books in our Scriptures. No prior experience with Bible study is necessary.

The book is on sale in the rectory, and is available from Amazon.
